Rogue Photography

Rogue Photography was started in February 2008 by me, Jordan Shields. Though new to the organized official business scene, I have been taking pictures for years. I was kind of pushed into starting a company by my sister, Sidney, who saw some kind of talent in me. She has been my support and Rogue’s biggest fan through the entire process. I think I have called her over a million times to ask her opinion on even the tiniest details. For that love and support, I am truly grateful. Now that I am toward the end of the sisterly pushing, I am glad I am here. It has been an extremely exciting and educational road.

So, here I am as Rogue Photography. I love to take pictures and more than that, I love the end result. I love to be able to capture an incredible moment and make it last, to preserve an experience including the emotions involved. I want the people who buy my photos to love them, to not be able to live without them and to feel the feelings I felt when I took them.

I have never thought of myself as artistic until now. This is my form of artistic expression and I have sincerely enjoyed discovering this hidden part of myself. Photography brings a delicate and vulnerable side to my demanding, perfectionist, business-minded, scientific, outspoken personality. It is a type of balance I never knew I was missing until now.
